I wrote last week on suggestions regarding a piece of brass stuck in the chamber of a vintage Marlin 1894 in 25-20.You guys were kind enough to give me several ideas on getting it out, I tried them all except the tap but finally I had to take it to a gunsmith who used the correct reamer and now all is well. The information provided by the members of this web site is priceless. Thanks again

OK good show now would you be so kind to give us a hint on what the cost to you from the gunsmith & we need a range report on how it shoots
I had a greifelt combo gun in 410 over 25/20 intended to give my grandson until some one made me a offer I COULDN'T REFUSE

Perryshooter No cost for the gunsmith,we did some horse trading I refinished a stock for him and he repaired the chamber. As far as shooting I will have to let you know later the weather has been terrible and I hate to shoot outdoors when it's lousy thanks Dave
