Post what you see! The item number is correct, I don't see a typo, it should post.

Are you referring to how the '28' stamp is taller than the letters and looks like it was stamped deeper?
Anyway look how deep the 28 is stamped, the dead give away "2 3/4 CHAM." and of course they were all Red Letter guns. 28 GA. guns were all 2 7/8 chambers too!

NJretcop: only the 28 ga. had a 2 7/8 cham. The 12,16, & 20 had a 2 3/4 in. the .410 had a 3 inch.
The "Blue Book" is wrong!!
The Blue Book says that "MOST" 28ga model 37's were Red Letter.
Also you say all were 2 7/8" chambers. Do you mean all 37's? My model 37 in 12ga has a 2 /3/4" chamber.
I'm confused........(I know, what's new about that[:D] )

What Dave is referring to is the correct chamber length for the 28 gauge Model 37s.

Sorry to bust your bubble. Winchester did make some M-37, 28 ga. along with the other ga.'s that were not red letter. I have seem the non red letter 28 ga.'s with my own eyes.
