advice on spotting scope

anyone have any advice on buying a spotting scope?...as with most things today price is a major factor..I have no knowledge of these but am getting into small bore target shooting and can see the need...your help and direction is appreciated

    Hello I dont know where you live but two suppliers of small bore target spotting scopes both set up shop at CAMP PERRY each year Champions Choice and Champions Shooters Supply they both set up a rack with 10-20 different spotting scopes so you can compare them in range conditions. I suggest a scope with an angled eye piece so you can spot your shots without changing position. Also a FREELAND SCOPE STAND. Cheers Karl.
