Savage Model 24C series N

I picked up this rifle/shotgun at the Florence,SC gun show today, first one like it I ever saw. 20" barrels 22 lr over 20 gauge, youth length stock, hidden compartmen in the butt that holds one lr and one 20 gauge shell. I had promised myself I'd buy the next model 24 I found but this is a bonus. Excellent shape ,nice and tight, cant wait to try it out tomorrow.Any body know about this model ?? any idea of value??

i think it was called the camper and are worth at least 300.00 or more. eastbank.

This is called a camper's companion.my book shows it was made also in 22 mag.and crome reciever. I have one new in case as it came in case made special for it. I had a case i bought hoping to find gun then I found a new gun in case at a gun show.tks hedge
