"Khartoum" movie gun

It looked a little like a horizontal style Gatling with 4-5 barrels in line, and fired by pushing the operating handle forward and pulling back to reload, and pushing forward again to fire in sequence.
Not really a machine gun, but the movie takes place @ 1885.
Any ideas?

Always thought the ultimate fate of passengers on the steam side-wheeler was nicely understated. Nowadays, if the movie were produced, they'd show the killings, maiming and torturing in 3-D. As it was, the futile hope of the Brits holding Khartoum was revealed gradually, both to the participants as well as the movie-goer.
Thanks; great links.
