I have a Walther PP 22lr I am trying to date to see if a purchaser can use there C&R license to purchase it. Does anyone know of a site to date Walther PPs?

If it's German made, it will have a proof mark that is a date. The early ones are numbers. Later ones are coded letters, that represent dates.

ATF's C & R book lists all Walther PP & PPk pistols made in France & marked "Manhurin" as being C & R eligible regardless of age & caiber. Don't know if that covers your particular pistol.
