9mm compact

thinking about one ...eaa witness999106 poly compact, bersa thunder UC...cougar 8000f light.. all in 9mm....smaller hands and these in 13 rd have a shorter grip...any opinions on choice of these three...thanx

    I have one of the original, Italian made Cougars in 45 acp. It has held up well, to thousands of rounds. Mostly my handloads. Quite accurate. I believe this can be attributed, to the turning barrel locking mechanism. Beretta quit making them in Italy though. Turned over there manufacture to their Turkish subsidiary. Now being sold under the Stoeger name.
