"Special edition" guns are usually worth +/- 10% of the value of the "plain" version of the same model in the same condition. Your gun probably has the model number on the frame, where it will show when you open the cylinder.

Many people feel that Commerative guns will draw large premiums, but typically that is not correct, even for relatively limited production pieces.

Condition, accessories, presentation case, etc., all will add to the value of the gun (regardless of the commerative issue, unless the case is specially marked).

To the right person (collector of police commeratives, someone from Detroit LE, etc.) you may get better than 10%, but without more info. 10% is a good conservative number.

Provide us with furhter information, and especially some pictures and we can help you better.

"Great condition" is not a definitive term; no one but you knows what it means.

Tell us the condition of the finish, using a percentage between 0 and 100, plus describe EVERY mark on the gun and case that wasn't there when it left the factory.
