Will a Winchester Model 54 fit into a Model 70 stock? Is it as simple as inletting for the barrel knuckle and that's it? Thanks

It could be done with enough glass bedding!!![8D]..The trigger guard layout is different , but the major difference is that the front guard screw hole on a 54 is drilled into the recoil lug, while on a 70, its in the flat behind the lug.. I've seen it done, but it really looks butchered..
