Omega rg 38 38 special serial #87504

I recently aquired this 38 and I can't locate any information about it. I would appreciate any info on the maker- age and possible value.

    Your revolver was made by the Rohm Company. They were/are? located in Sonheim/Brenz Germany.

    Omega was the Trade Name it was sold under, by the U.S. importer.

    It will have German proof marks that included a date, that is usually represented by letters. My guess is that it was probably made sometime during the 1970's.

    Rohm's handguns were inexpensive, mediocre quality, utility guns. Your revolver probably sold for around $100 when it was imported, not worth a great deal more then that today.
