Simple question that I have no idea what the answer is....
I have a simple question that I have no clue as to the right answer. I am setting up my new Remington 700 5R rifle (308) to start shooting and I mounted a Zeiss 4.5 x 14 x 50 Conquest scope on it last week. Do I need to add a 50mm tube extender to this scope... I see a lot of photos showing snippers with l-o-n-g tube extenders on thier scopes... What is the real reason for these extenders. I will not be using this gun for any type of hunting, only paper punching.
Thanks for your help.
