I have an old single shot 12ga that has been in the family for a long time. It was my Grandfathers and according to Dad it was purchased back in the late 30's. It is in rough finish as far as wood, but I do know it is functional. I would like to find a little info on it. I know this is probably not worth much but it does have personal value.

On the receiver it states

Victor Ejector American Gun Co. New York

In the top right corner it has a 12 with a diamond with a G stamped inside

On the top of the barrel it is stamped Genuine Armory Steel

    Hello jt,

Your old single shot scattergun was made by the Crescent Arms Co. and distributed by the H.D. Folsom company circa 1922 - 1930. You are correct about its intrinsic value.
