These are reasonably price ($5.00 less per box than their brass counterparts) and since most tournaments don't allow you to pickup your brass seems to be the way to go.
Reading the warnings on box, it says not to shoot through ported barrels or compensated barrels. Anyone want to venture a guess why?

Anybody around firearms in use, should have eye protection. End of story.
Direct impingement gas systems. Are way more apt to blast particles and debris back in your face, than ported barrels or comps. In my experience.

I would assume that the lead bullets are copper plated, which is a lot cheaper than putting jackets on them. Since plating is usually only a few microns thick, that could cause shaving when used with some ported barrels.
