These are reasonably price ($5.00 less per box than their brass counterparts) and since most tournaments don't allow you to pickup your brass seems to be the way to go.

Reading the warnings on box, it says not to shoot through ported barrels or compensated barrels. Anyone want to venture a guess why?

I am assuming very thin jackets

I would assume that the lead bullets are copper plated, which is a lot cheaper than putting jackets on them. Since plating is usually only a few microns thick, that could cause shaving when used with some ported barrels.

A lot of the warnings nowadays are lawyer driven nonsense, covering their butts against any potential eventually.

Anybody around firearms in use, should have eye protection. End of story.

Direct impingement gas systems. Are way more apt to blast particles and debris back in your face, than ported barrels or comps. In my experience.

I use these all the time in both 9mm and 45 acp, they are more BANG for your buck, $5 is $5!

The reason I asked was I have a G20C with a factory ported barrel and slide. I was going to use this ammo in the GSSF competitions as they do not allow you to pick up your brass.
