Comanche revolvers:good ,bad ?

Anybody know of Comanche revolvers ? I've seen a few and the price is somewhat affordable,but my main concern is reliability and quality.What y'alls take on these guns.any info is appreciated.

I would go with a Rossi or a Taurus for a bottom dollar new revolver. Both have lifetime warranties.

Had one of the 357s, it was OK. Not the worlds best, but it handled 300 rounds of 357 and 200 of 38spl without any issues. Traded it for something different...

In general, I agree with the premise. There are so many quality used revolvers available for not that much more money, it really doesn't pay to take a chance with low-end no-name guns.

I don't like the newer Comanche revolvers but the old (late 60's-early 70's)Llama Super Comanche was a very good gun in .44 Magnum caliber. Even Elmer Keith liked them. They often were rated up there with the S&W's. My old Super Comanche has been excellent. It is over 35 years old and still going strong. To be fair, I have never owned or shot a newer Comanche; they don't impress me much.

The quality and steel rockwell hardness of Lama pistols Vary from Very Good to soft enough to cut with a pocket knife[:(!][:(][V] Unless I could do some test and do a detailed take down I for one would not buy one.
