steven 200 cal 243

i am trying to mount a nikon pro staff on a stevens 200 cal 243 and ai am having problems finding a base and rings that will allow this any help would be great

    Get yourself a good Weaver style STEEL base from Leupold, Weaver, or Burris, and Top it off with medium height Weaver/ATK Qual Lock rings(Used to be Simmons 4x4). I prefer the steel over aluminum alloy. Don't forget to use the Loctite on the screws for the bases.

    you might need to find a set of extended rings that will work on your bases that move the rings about an inch forward of back from the point where they atttach to the rifle, I n i remeber correctly i had this porblem that the scope mounting points where soo short to reach both ends fo the action. hope that helps
