I came across a remington model 521t junior special 22cal bolt action. It is missing the rear sight and magazine. Can someone inform me as to what kind of rear sight it had and how can I get one? Also about the magazine? From looking at the rifle, the end of the barrel behind the bolt, it is tapped. The two taps are side mounted, not ontop of the barrel. I've read that it calls for a Lyman rear peep sight, but I don't know what model.

Also, the gun has no serial numbers? I'm pleased to say that it appears to be in good shape, but by the looks of the wear on the bluing of the barrel, it seems pretty old. I heard that if a gun is missing it's serial number it is probably pre WWII. Can anyone tell me what I have. Is it worth sinking any money into? If I can replace the sight and magazine, I would like to squirrel hunt with it (unless it is worth more $200 - the price of a new Marlin 925 bolt action .22) Any thoughts or info would be appreciated.
