Hello Bill I see you have a number of items that you are trying to find out their value. I think the reason you have not received much help is Because the lack of details on your Items Please put us in your place Your questions ar sort of like If I asked "I need to know the vale of a Blue ford with 4 doors in fair condition. What is it worth?" what we need from you to give you more then a wild a** guess is detailed close up pictures in focus . to give us even a chance at value If this is not possible then YOU need to go on the auction side of GUNBROKER sign in and then do a search on sold items of the last 60 days on items like yours look at the pictures and see if the condition is better or worst then yours. On collector guns the different between 100% and 98% could be $2,000.00 or $500.00 the term good or fair just does not cut it.

You are really lucky because you have a one of a kind item. It is likely to support you and yours for generations to come. Winchester never cataloged a model 1880 so you are the only one to have one. Congratulations.

    Hello Bill,

cody45's reply was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.

Your Model 1890 slide-action rifle was manufactured in the early part of the month of May 1918, and the barrel is octagon (8-sided) versus hexagon (6-sided).

You did not mention which specific 22 rimfire cartridge that it is chambered for (e.g. 22 Short, 22 Long, 22 Long Rifle, or 22 W.R.F.), and that piece of information will have an effect on the value. The other very important factor in the collector value is the graded condition... which you did not address with any clarity. If you can post pictures of the rifle, it would help us immensely.
