Heeellllpppp. I'm trying to find some info on the Win. 121. I have the
MADIS books but all they say is the Mfg, dates of 1967 - 1973 and there
is a 121 and a 121Y. What is the difference between them? I found a
schematic and it looks like it was suppose to have a tube feed. Mine
does not, its a single shot. Could the 121 be a single shot and the 121Y
be a tube feed? Hope someone can help. I still can't figure out why the
bolt sticks when pulled halfway back. The whole gun is spotless and has
a thin coat of Remington oil on it. Thanks for all the help.

Does any one know how the bolt handle comes offf the bolt on this rifle . also how do you take bolt apart. I have taken the from end off with the small roll pin holding it in. but I need to get the back end of the bolt apart to put a new safety on it. any help would be appreciated.

hello. i did a little re-search in my blue book of values. it is indeed suppoosed to be a single shot. the difference between the 121 and 121y is that the y has a shorter stock. they also made a deluxe model with adj sights. value on these guns are extremely low. 95% value is only 70.00. the bolt probably sticks from being dirty. i would try a good cleaning.

The Model 121 was manufactured from 1967 through 1972 (remaining stock was sold off in 1973). Total production was 72,561 rifle. There were three different versions of the Model 121, (1) the basic rifle, (2) the Youth model {121Y} with a buttstock 1-1/4" shorter than the standard modfel rifle, and (3) the Deluxe rifle. All three versions were made as a single shot, chambering the 22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle interchangeably. The only listed barrel length is 20-3/4". The safety engages automatically when the bolt is lifted for loading.
