I was wondering what everyone's opinion was on the Remington R-15 in the 223. Do they shot well? I am just wanting something for coyotes and such but i what it to group well. Also, I have seen a couple reviews saying that if you mount a scope on them you might need to use forward extension mount to get enough eye relief. I am a somewhat tall person at 6'3" and have long arms. Will I need an extension? Any help would be appreciated.

hello. the remingtons are made by bushmaster, so they are of high quality and will work great. i have a bull barrel target rifle similar to the remington, and didnt need an extension. your just going to have to mount a scope and try it.

They are a Bushmaster Varminter (24") or Predator (20"). Very awsome guns.

It depends on the scope you use as I keep my head way forward too. When I first had a cheep Tasco on it I had enough room to mount it without an extension using the 3/4" risers that come with it.

When I put my IOR 4-14x50 with MP8 Dot reticle scope on I needed more forward length. I added a GG&G riser/extension and NF rings. I have been very happy with this set up.

This is what it currently looks like but I added a Magpul PRS stock but have not had a chance to run it like this yet due to the nice weather [:o)]
