WHAT WOULD CAUSE THE BOLT NOT TO CLOSE FULLY ON MY CETME .308 91/93? I CAN TAP THE BARREL SLIGHTLY ON THE FLOOR AND IT CLOSES.

Don't know who made yours? Some were made up with receivers made out Aluminum castings. These particular versions have caused folks a lot of grief. Try placing a magnet on your receiver to see if you have been stuck with one of these loosers.

Is it a CETME or a HK91 Clone? Not the same gun.

If it is a Century job it might be built on a Hesse reciever, and that is rarely a good thing.

Might not be anything wrong with it/ Let the bolt "go" to load it. IF it still doesn't close, then take it to a real smith. I have and do own some "alloy" receivers HK versions and have had no problem. Others, by hearsay or bad experience must have had a problem or two.
Lots of people jump on the "bandwagon" about bad this and that, I have/ had many firearms and have/ had a few problems with all brands of guns. Just like a vehicle, some swear at Ford some swear by it..imo..nambu

As it was stated before a CETME and HK 91 are not the same thing. A HK 93 is not even the same size or caliber.
