Hi all, I checkout the brownel,s factory parts list to the j-frame S&W36. There is numbered list like this, j-frame36-1 j-frame36-2 j-frame36-3 and 36-5 -36-7 then is coming j-frame37 so can enyone tell me what is the meaning of the numbers after the 36.

Brownell's will have the parts tracking numbers segregated by model-number, then by sub-number, then the part nomenclature (I.E. S&W Model 36-2 hammers). That's what the stock clerk will refer to when filling your order. There will be an "in house" computer tracking code that will tell the clerk the room/aisle/bin to go to to retreive the part. Joe
