colt AR15 white label??

The serial number puts this gun at 1977. The guy said it has a white label. Is this correct?

does the serial number on the box end label match the receiver?..white label box/guns are somewhat rare..green=preban, blue=post,I believe this info is correct..Loko

From the biggerhammer site it sounds like it should be tan. It does talk about some being white. Serial number sp1 70xxx. New in box with all the stuff from colt new. How much and is this white or tan. He said it is a plain white label. HELP HELP

is this the gun in question?..6551 model number..it has the forward assist on it,.I don't believe this feature showed up till the SP1s were out of production after 81?..not for sure,and probably no help to you,also the flash hider is like the models between the last SP1 and including preban guns..as post bans didn't have a flash hider..put this link of the gun over on the AR15 forums for someone with more knowledge can tell you for sure..Loko
