17 mach 2 high standard?

hello
does anybody know if a 17 mach2 could be put on a high standard military frame? i seen that high standard sold a 17 high standard and also heard of a 17 aguila for it but have not heard of 17 mach2.
i have never seen 17 high standard ammo but have seen some 17 aguila for sale.
how much heaver of a spring or slide weight would i have to put on to safely shoot a 17 mach2 or is this just asking for slide and frame problems. has anyone tried this or heard of it yet?

    Hello for a few years the New Texas based High Standard had some replacement barrels at Camp Perry in 17 caliber. I never purchased one But the man you need to talk to is BOB SHEA "Mr. High Standard." he has been involved with High Standard for 50 + years and will give you the straight scoop on it this is a workable conversion. I did shoot a Kimber conversion unit. in 17 but I think they pulled them from the market. The very thing that makes the 17 popular in a rifle. IMHO does not transfer to a short barrel pistol BUT TO EACH HIS OWN
