Ordered a DPMS Panther AP4 Carbine....

Like the post title says, I ordered a DPMS Panther AP4 Carbine with a 16" barrel. I have searched the threads here and found a "bit" of info, but not much. I have looked all over the inter-webs and found some more info, most of it favorable. Does anyone here have any insight about this fine weapon that they haven't shared yet? Plus, this being my first privately owned AR, I'm wondering if it's advisable to shoot Wolf ammo through it, or should I pay twice the price for Remington .223/5.56? Any advice/info/insight would be very appreciated. Thanks.

never had a dpms,but i have had extractors wear out fast shooting steel case wolf.that being said,i was rightly told in this forum"extractors are cheap,and easy to replace-shoot more ammo!"

I have a DPMS Varmint upper. Has been great.

My Colt has eaten thousands of rounds of Ruskie steel cased ammo with only moderately more wear on the extractors.

ive heard good things about prvi opartizan ammo. not as cheap as wolf but its brassed cased reloadable. check out wideners.com they have some good prices.
