can you date this Winchester ammo for me?

Lately older ammo has been accumulating at a faster rate than normal for me. This was my latest purchase here on GB. Any ideas as to the approximate DOM? Thanks.

I have seen similar stuff, that supposedly dated to the 20's. But I don't really know squat, about old box lot ammo. One of the mods here was a dealer in collectible ammo. I don't know if he is still around though? Haven't seen him post, in a really long time.

You'd have to open the box to see the date codes on the inside of the end * but that's not something you want to do with a collectable box like that.

The "K" code was first used in 1921. The word "Centerfire" replaced the words "Center Fire" in 1925.

So that gives a narrow time span for when the ammunition was manufactured.
