Hi guys;
I just bought a used Taurus .45 ACP for what I think is a good price.
$275.00. It looks like its new, or shot very little. My question is, when I went to buy shells for it, I bought a box of .45 ACP. Looking at the other boxes of shells, I saw .45 AUTO. Is there a difference between the two? Thanks in advance, Mike

ACP stands for Automatic Colt Pistol.
You may also see 45 Long Colt (45LC), which is a rimmed round traditionally used in revolvers (esp. single actions) and possibly 45 GAP which is a glock developed cartridge.
But you want 45 ACP/Auto.
