How much of a premium is a 1942 "Izheush" with curved bolt handle with "pick up" scope vs. the standard straight bolt non scoped model? Thanks

I just bought a nice M44, shoots better than I imagined. Found out to scope it have to remove rear sight and put rail on. Nope, I want to keep it origional.
Found turn key job M91-30 Tula with slab side left receiver and authentic mount and MN scope w/cover and caps, all matching numbers, 85% cond for $500.
Is it worth that high a price? I know zilch about the MN except what is printed about.

My 2?, The one for $500 is a repo Russian Sniper. You can do a lot better by buying a surplus refurbished 91/30 for around $100 and having a competent gunsmith D & T it for one of the commercial mounts that are on the market. Make sure the 91/30 has at least a very good bore though.

whompuss, That's the price of a real sniper, but fakes abound. Check this link out so you know what to look at, pay attention to the "C&H" stamp on the barrel. Check the scope and mount as well. A "fake' sniper runs about $340.
