Black Powder Rifle.

I recently purchased a old black powder rifle. It is a cap-lock and appears to be .45 cal. The only wording I can find on the rifle is the word LONDON on top of the barrel, and a W on a pin on the bottom of the stock. There is no reference to caliber or anything else noted.
It does have sone scrolling on the side-plate as well as the top of the butt plate. If you have any Information I would appreciate it.

    There is really nothing in what you posted to separate this rifle from 10,000 other black powder rifles made by a variety of gunmakers in London over 60 years or so. If you could post pictures that would be of immense help. Instructions for posting photos can be found on the want ads forum.

    For that matter, it's not unlikely that the gun was made in Belgium and marked "London".
