retro ar 15 question

I have some stripped uppers with the marking L and M on them that I have been selling, I have received bunch of E mails from people from ar-15 going nuts over them. My question is do have something that is special,or rare or something like that. Been selling them for 125.00 for just a stripped a1 upper

Might be Lewis Machine and Tool uppers? Thats just a guess but I know that their products are highly thought of.

LM is the code of the manufacturer that forged the receiver. In this case:

LM = LAR / Martin Marietta (Army Spares Contract)

Thanks for the info. I have an AF marked upper I thought was Canadian
that turns out to be Bushmaster.
