I need info on a Winchester 94 "CHEVROLET" commemorative made in the 80's. Any info would be appreciated'

Looking for someplace to download a free copy of a armorer's manual for a Winchester 94. I need to brake it down to clean it.

I removed the forearm on my 94 to clean the gun. Now the band that goes around the forearm and the barrel will not allow the screw to line up, just misses it by a fraction. is there a trick to get it lined up so I can attach the forearm.?
