What are the minimum bench-type tools you'd recommend for a start in gunsmithing?

    Go to www.brownels.com they have a number of basic gunsmithing tool sets/kits available on their site. Some specific for certain types of guns.

    You might consider also giving their customer service folks a call, (800 number), to get their recommendations.

    Sorry, I should have realized this subject would have been covered in depth previously.

    Shucks, with as many folks, knowing as much as they do about guns and everything pertaining thereunto, and with the volume of written material archived, I'm looking forward to some good reading.
