help ID this british military scope

,,,,picked up a little winchester model 1903,,,and it has been scoped with what i believe is a british made piece,,,maybe you experts will know what it is,,,,the markings are as follows in white " TEL STG No.53 MK 1,,,,,OS 1075 GA,,,,R.S.A. 2498 ",APPROX 11" LONG 1" TUBE,,has very thick reticles,,,then they get thinner towards the center,,and stop short of touching each other,,no dot,,,is mounted in Parker Hale mounts and rings,,,any help would be appreciated

    I am not sure but I believe that was the scope used on the Enfield sniper fielded by the brits during and a while after WWII. You might want to do a search of enfield sniper rifles in current and closed auctions to see if it matches as there are a fair number of these guns selling from time to time on GB.
