I have a Styer USR that is NIB that I bought way back when they first hit the market. This is a sporter AUG, with a heavy barrel.
Have been unemployed for a while now and need to round up some cash....
So looks like she going to hit the blocks but I'm not sure where the markets at now, been out of touch for awhile.
I would like to know what you all think it's worth[?]
I have all the papers and every thing it came with.
thanks for your help!!

I've seen them listed for $2000 - $3000 sometimes a bit more. It's hard to say what it will bring right now as there are 2 different companies on the edge of releasing US made AUG clones that have all the "evil" features that yours doesn't ... I'd start at 25-27 and see where it goes but for a fast sale start at 22 and see what happens, you may be surprised.

To expand a little on what kimberkid said. From what I have heard, the two companies that are building the AUG clones in the US, are going to be charging in the neighborhood of $2,000 for them. No telling what this is going to do to the prices of original AUGs or USRs. Of course no more Steyrs can be imported, which makes them "somewhat" collectible.

Some things that might affect your selling price. What color is the stock? Have you put a barrel release pin in it? Do you have a P-rail for it?. Trigger Tamer installed? How many mags go with it.

Lately the bidding has been between $2,200 to $2,700. Most of these usually have a reserve and do not sell, although some do. Lots of them are listed for more, with no bids.

If you list it, post a link to the auction.

Most likely, the clones will drive the price of the genuine AUG down a bit in the beginning, then they will rebound and be pretty much unaffected ... That's just speculation, but if you look at the AK, HK, FAL and other weapons that have been cloned, it's pretty much how it worked ...

... finally, the "good" clones ended up selling for about what the genuine article sold for originally ... Can you believe Century Cetme's are bringing $500 - $700! The original HK91's sold for that [:0]

    Thanks for the input guys!
I'm on the road right now but will be putting this guy up soon.
Is there any way to go back and look at auctions that have sold in the pass??

If you are a registered member you can. Just do a search and then in the "Show only" box, hit the last choice. "Completed auctions"

Well I went and listed it http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=82115988

and I do have a barrel release pin for it but it is not installed have a bunch of extra mags if needed.
I did buy this new so I know the history of the rifle. It is 100% stock and never fired.
    Thanks
