Thanks,TT

For the longest time I have been trying to get my hands on a Czech m24 cz24 7.62x25 32 round mag. I have tried every internet site, made 50 phone calls, gun shows ect. and can't seem to locate one for the life of me. I purchased the kit off of gunbroker and was ripped off by the seller. Pictured was a mag, when it finally arrived (almost 2 months later) the magazine was no where to be found and the seller dissapeared. If anyone on here has a known source for these I would appreciate it. thanks..

    Glockman II,

There is a 'sticky' at the top of this forum which has the instructions for posting photographs on the internet.

    Best.

From what I can see, it looks like a FAL lower reciever. With out a close up you can't tell what brand.

It's a FAL for sure, I've got the twin to it on mine. Mine has a inch pattern Enterprise reciever.

    What's it worth?

    Hello Glockman II[:)]

At the risk of being considered an SOB, why in heaven's name did you get a receiver that you do not know what it is or what it is worth?

The receiver is for an FN-FAL. Looking at the picture I can't tell you if it is the metric or inch pattern. I would have to use my thread pitch gauge to tell.

Do a "search" on GunBroker for FAL receivers --- that will tell you its value.

It is an Inch pattern FAL lower from an Enfield produced L1A1 rifle(you can tell this based on the general shape of the parts). UE 61 means it was built by Enfield in 1961.

This is not the Serial numbered part on these rifles, the upper receiver is. Value?, $75-100, good place to sell would be on the FALfiles.com

AQH what exactly would you use you thread pitch gauge on to tell the difference? Inch and metric guns use nearly all the same threads. "Inch" and "metric" refer to whether they are British Commonwealth pattern guns, or the basic FN design guns the rest of the world adopted(metric guns with the exception of Israeli guns used "inch" threads).
