they are well made pistols.they are made in italy,i have one in 45acp great shooter. $400 is a little high for the pistol used unless he is throwing in some extra clips or things.

The value depends on the model. If it is a custom shop model, they sell for more.

I also have one in .45 acp and it a great pstol. I got one of their catalouges and you can even order complete uppers from them in several calibers.(.22, .38super, .40 ect.) Mine also came with a .22 upper but like most it jams sometimes.(the .22 upper not the .45)
I think I paid $475 for the whole setup.
