Caspian Build questions

I would like to build a .40 S&W on a Commander slide/Caspian Officers Model frame. Can I use the Caspian .45 Officers frame or is there a .40 cal frame that I must use? How will the slide and frame mate up at the muzzle end? Has anyone got pics of a similar build?
Thanks!

I'd call Caspian and ask if the slide would be too long for it. If not get the slide for a 40 and a ejector for it too. I understand Caspian will sell you about anything you want.

Commander slide on Officer's ACP frame is known as the CCO. Works fine, it is hard to tell why Colt did not keep building the guns.

I'd be sure Caspian knew the frame was to be for a .40, (Don't count on them figuring it out from your order for a .40 slide.) the ramp might differ.
