Remington Pump

About 20 years ago I saw the most beautiful guns I ever seen, a Remington pump, pre 870. It had a hammer and looked like a Winchester Model 97. It was a trap grade with the most beautiful Walnut grained wood I have ever seen. I looked like it came right out of the box but when I saw it in about 1985 it was many many years old.
What model might it have been? Probably worth some bucks now, if it still in the shape I saw it in, 1988.

Hello like many things in life as time goes by we sometimes forget or substitute details of our past experiences. To my knowledge Remington NEVER made a Hammer Pump Shotgun . I think you may have seen a Marlin They made a number of high grade hammer pump action trap shotgun models.
