Firing Pin Mark on Unfired Shell

I noticed one of my 250 3000 reloads, unfired, has a slight indentation on the primer. This is for a Savage 99.
Could the firing pin be broken or blocked in the forwards position?
The primer appears to be properly seated and flush with case.

added Unlikely it's gummed up. Haven't had one apart in 40 years.

Are you saying that a round that you reloaded, when fresh out of your reloader, has a depression in the primer?
Or, are you saying that you chambered one of your reloads in your Savage, but ejected it without firing, & the unfired round has a depression in the primer?
