luger lookalike 22lr..steel Stoeger?? luger with a 4"/6" steel barrel...anyone got hands on a have a report on one ???? thanx

    I can vouch for the Stoeger Luger, as I have had one for years. It has held up well, and is reasonably accurate. Given the fixed sights, and 4 LB+ trigger pull.

    I always felt that Stoeger pulled the plug on a good thing. When they stopped production of their replica Luger, in the mid 80's.

    Excuse the above babblings of a senior citizen.[:D] But I have never heard of a nitescout?

    Erma Luger .22s have a better rep than Stoeger, but with both it seems some work well and others somewhat less so.

    I find one other posting of a NightScout Parabellum .22lr where some one said he got one before Christimas but had not tried it yet. No such pistol currently appears on the Nightscout web page.

    It looks like a clone of the HK MP5 pistol in 9mm Luger that had a sample passed around gun magazine writers in 2013. Logistics, regulations, & finances make it difficult for a small company to import a new firearm to the US.
