Browning BPS Trap Gun

I have a bps browning that was sold as a trap gun.It has the monte carlo stock 30 inch bbl. but the barrel is marked 30 inch field on it .I have looked at other bps guns in pictures and mine looks like the trap gun. just the barrel is marked field any one know about this. maybe someone switched barrels thanks

The Trap model is listed with 30" barrel.Trap barrels have ivory front and middle beads, while Hunting barrels have a metal front bead only.

my barrel has the front ivory bead and middle brass bead but marked field on the side of the barrel.

BPS Field is listed as a SHOT Show Special in matte finish.
Is your barrel bright or dull?

Did you pay a premium price for a trap gun? Barrels are readily interchangeable and might easily have gotten swapped.

bright blue barrel.I would think browning would mark it trap instead of field
