Is there any way to pull up closed auctions for items to see
what the general prices are? The open auctions often don't have enough
items & you can't tell what the final price will be.

Now, I'll have to admit to being a terrible searcher but this one should be super simple. How do I view closed auctions so that I can get an idea of what the going prices are on a particular item? Searching 'closed auctions' gets me nowhere. What's up with that? (This is a heck of a post for a newbie.)

    TIA,
    Chiz

    Exclude RESERVE auctions.

Select SHOW HIGHEST NUMBER OF BIDS FIRST so that items with 0 bids drop to the bottom.

I was about to say that wasn't working. What I didn't realize was how long it took. Suddenly the result popped up after I had almost given up. It also helps to be as specific as possible. For example Ruger #3 gave me several thousand results. Ruger #3 45/70 cut that WAY down.
