Transparent gun safe

Anyone have any info on gun safe probably made over 30 yrs ago that was made of some kind of high tech like plastic material that you could see the contents inside. The only metal was the locking material and hinges. They advertised it showing it was bullet proof, couldn't chop it with and axe, or burn it with a blow torch. Any info is always appreciated.

    OH yes I saw one in a gun shop here in the town I live in Charlottesville Va. it was upright about 5'X 8' Foot bullet proof had test piece that would stop 44 MAG and a alarm system with somthing Inside to discourage anyone that did get inside I have a catalog somewhere I used to display my guns in display CASES I made out of the top half's of China cabinets then got nervous just before I lost them all in FLOOD I think at the time they were about 8K

    the one I saw and was saving money to purchase was all bullet proof glass on all four sides gun racks held and displayed all guns on their sides first electric key pad to unlock I had ever seen you could see bolts lock & unlockedit

    Speaking as just one pistol shooter SOME of us old people like to look at trophy cases to remember the good times in their life .before the flood I could sit in my man cave look at game mounts, trophy of Cars I pit crewed on, cars I had and raced,

    If it was as safe as an iron one like perryshooter said nice to sit and admire some rifles with memories and other items and not just have to stare at a big iron box. That would be the reason for wanting one.

    I thought that was why there was a big iron door to the Man Cave.
