A FREIND HAS A COLT MARK III,4" BARRELUSED VERY LITTLE,TROOPER SPECIAL.STILLHAS THE ORIGINAL BOX IT CAME IN.MANUFACTURED APPROXIMATELY 1974.ANY IDEA WHAT HE SHOULD ASK FOR ITWOULD BE APPRECIATED.

    I have a Colt model 357 with a serial number that puts it in 1958/59 production. It is parkerized and I was told that these were never factory parkerized. Its in beautiful shape inside and out. I wonder if any of you have an opinion on its finish and also what it may be worth.

    Could you give me an approximate value on a revolver bought in 1956 for approx. $90.00 orignal box, near mint, barrel is marked Colt 357, I guess this is the mod. checkered walnut grips, 6" barrel, almost a hair trigger. box contaings the colt ACCRO rear sight brochure, warranty card and a brochure about Handling th Handgun. Thanks, for any info. Oh yes, ser. # is 78XX
