New automatic weapons?

So do I understand correctly, no more weapons can be added to the NFA weapon registry if they are fully automatic?

    No more conversions for private use since 5/19/86. But new automatics can be made for police and military.

    Dude, do everyone a favor and write you congressman a letter. I did. After I found this out, I was so disapointed I starting looking for other countries to live in, then relized I didn't have enough money to move because I blew it all on guns, accessories, reloading stuff, and my lay-away's which just never seem to end.
