Ak forstock removal

How do you take the front stock off, I have a Yugo and its wiggely and I tried shimming it, but I just dont like it so im gonna buy new ones. How do I take them off.

    im sure there are pics somewhere that describe this way easier than writing it, but, you field strip the rifle, take the gas tube off, then there is a lever on the metal thing that fits over the front of the lower handguard, flip that lever "forwards" then you can wiggle the cap off the handguard, then it should just pull right out.

    dont know if that made sense, but its really easy to do and you should be able to figure it out by lookin at it.

    I think 'wiggley' is a standard operating condition of the piece.
    New tube and/or furniture may also be that way.
    A de-wiggle may have to be a custom job, but make sure you don't take away the loose tolerances that keep a lot of it working.
