Good Day Forum,
Does anyone have knowledge of or experience with the CZ line of semi-auto shotguns? They seem to be rather low priced and look well made, tho I've only viewed them here on GB. Other CZ units look to be of decent quality. Any info will be greatly appreciated... still looking for a clay gun for the wife.
Many Thanks.

From what Ive heard, they are nice. Theyre made in Turkey, and are still made however CZ doesnt sell them anymore. (I think)

I worked on one that fired out of battery (before the bolt fully closed). It seems that CZ had a recall on them as the firing pin stuck forward and they would fire before lock up.

I recently purchase a CZ SXS and am very happy with it. I know you were asking about autoloaders, but my experience has been good with the CZ SXS. I also have a friend who has had a CZ SXS for a couple years and his experience has also been good. Prime reason I purchased mine!

    Good luck with your decision

I have one. They are built with a lot of extra meat, so they are about as heavy as a Remington 1100/11-87. Mine has only gave me one malfunction ever, and it was to feed after about 400 rounds between cleanings. Uses the Franchi type gas system. They are not made anymore from what I can tell. CZ had Huglu make them, however Huglu is either owned or exclusively under contract to make shottys for CZ. If you can get one cheap, then I say go for it. I payed 250 NIB for mine in 2005.
