I have a Star BKM 9mm pistol that I have aquired through an estate. I have been told that is is somewhat rare. Can anyone give me an itea as to the guns value. It appears to be in very good condition and the gun shoots and operates with no problems.

The recently imported Stars are BM models.
The BKM has an alloy frame, and is a very cool carry gun. BKMs are much rarer than BM models.

Your gun has a clear anodized aluminum frame and a chromed (not nickel) slide. The grips should be plastic pearl. These fancier models do bring a premium.

The gun is original as I bought it new 28 years ago, still have the plastic box, instructions and magazine safety. I could not tell the frame was anodized, if the slide is chrome it is what it is not nickel. As for plastic pearl grips, yes they are plastic and almost white but not very pearl like.
