CZ-82 Questions

I am looking at purchasing one of these handguns. However, I noticed that the magazine does not drop like most other handguns. For example, when the mag is in the well and the release button is pushed, the mag would not drop as most other hand guns would. I noticed that when the slide is locked back, the mag would drop out as "normal". My question is this, is there a drop safety built into the pistol or is there something wrong with it? Also I noticed that there is NO rifling in the barrel of any sort. Is this normal or is it shot out? I can honestly say that I have not seen another handgun like this one. Any information and/or help would be greatly appreciated.

It doesn't have coventional rifling. I forget exactly what they call it but it the same kind that Glock uses.

As far as the mag problem I have no clue.

The rifling is called Polygonal, and it looks smooth by design.

As for the mags, as I recall they are the same as glock 19 original design. Pre-drop free redesign Glock 19 mags were designed to NOT drop freely when there were rounds remaining in the mag, however if the mag was empty they would fall out with just a press of the release.
