this sweet little rifle belongs to my dad and was trying to get dom and value no pic can get later if needed. i would say its about 75 % well used but taken care of. a few nicks but no rust. serial number is what got me stumped according to rem. it should have a letter before the number. dad stated that it was made in 1922 but no N in front of number just 105504 for a number .just said remington model 24 smokeless lr. is there something i am missing, don't have rifle with me 2 hrs away

Model 24 is almost an exact copy of the browning takedown Great little rifle works good left or right handed. made 1922-1935 with 131,000 made with your serial I would guess about 1930.

On the left side of barrel next to the receiver and just above the forearm, there will be two small letters. This will be the month and year of manufacture of the barrel. If I knew the letters, I can tell you the dates.
