Use to own one. They haven't been made since the early 50's. Because the plastic was to fragile. Stevens and latter Savage, replaced the plastic stocks and forearms. With wooden furniture, when the plastic stocks failed.

From the late 30's to the early 50's. Savage using the Stevens name, made a number of different of mostly shotguns. With Tenite furniture, all subsequently were replaced by wood.

Tenite stocks are almost impossible to find...spelled tenite not
tennite. You have a few options, post your need in the want ads. Or
you can still purchase a hardwood stock set at numrich until you find
a tenite. Or purchase the whole gun for around $350 here on GunBroker
as there are two here for sale, and use those stocks, a bit expensive I know.
The hardwood stocks from numrich will need fitting, and they
have been out of the walnut stocks for a few years.

I had sold one tenite set and gotten $125.00 for it as I had replaced
it with a walnut stock set about two years ago and it had holes drilled for a sling.

He's looking for the metal plug that screws into the butplate, not the whole stock.
